CB Parrker Westphal [Northwestern Commit]

Yup. They need to understand that nothing is promised and that they need to earn it. That doesn't mean we can't sell them on opportunity and explain how exactly they could contribute early, but they need to come in with the right mindset. You stop emphasizing team and individual responsibility and you get the Callahan era.

Bingo!

Westphal told HOL that he will make a decision this fall among his top 9: Northwestern, Vanderbilt, Arizona State, Michigan State, Illinois, Nebraska, Florida and Michigan and Ohio State. Thought we were out on this guy.

I think this guy is our best small shot at a big time CB this cycle, unless one opens up or decides to visit sometime later down the road.

I don't know we lose 5 seniors before he gets here. Only have Mitchell, Rose, Davie, Boaz Joseph and maybe Charles Jackson. That's not much to compete with, especially if CJ does well at safety. Mitchell,Rose in '14 then?? That's assuming no injuries. Not much depth, but nothing terribly concerning yet. Rose sounds like the real deal. So as long as he stays healthy were good. Davie is really coming along as well.

It's not about playing time. Bo is going to put the best players on the field moving forward. He even said that he regrets not playing some guys last year.

He's not picking us because he is more comfortable with another school. Northwestern is putting together a good class this year.

playing football and getting a free NW degree isnt the worst thing in the world either...They have what alot of others dont....a world class diploma after 3.5-4 years. I would say stanford, vandy and NW all fall into this category.
