CB Priest Willis [UCLA Commit]

Yes, they might be coming to Wisconsin game together. I think Willis will end up visiting for sure because of his connections, not sure how hard we are after Goodman with a pretty solid safety class already committed (not that we would turn him away) I think its more of Willis brining him along , if he even makes it ( see Cravens) Pretty sure he is visiting LSU and ND first. We get him on campus and we have a good shot . He has said he is giving us an official, but i will believe it when a date becomes more offical.....same with Vanderdoes.
WIllis WILL visit and it is official. 247 and i believe scout have him slated to visit ND sept 28. Nebraska Oct 26. and LSU Nov 2.
I understand that, but my point was Cravens said the same thing and never made it here, believe it when i see it kind of thing.
Cravens said he was going to try to visit, and it was gonna be on his own dime, Priest is setting up his official visits, so I take that a heck of a lot more than any attempted Cravens unofficial
True dat, really hope him and Vanderdoes actually make it. We have a crazy year, pull out a few close wins, win the games were supposed to and we could close out this class in a big way. Gotta get em here first, and it sounds like we have a good chance to get em both on campus.

I give us a 25% chance of landing this guy. I see him giving us some face time and choosing U$C or L$U.

I agree WAHusker, but that's my percentage at this time. The longer it goes on the less chance we have. In the end the big fish will swallow him up ... and our percentage.

I don't get why you think the longer it goes on the worse it is for us. it's the complete opposite. the longer he drags it out, it's more likely USC and LSU will fill up. besides, he hasn't even visited Nebraska yet.

Aside from getting him here to visit first ... I don't see many recruits in the Top 150 who wait till the last minute or NSD who then go on TV and pick up a hat with a :bigredn: on it. That type of player usually goes to U$C, UCLA, L$U or Bama. In this case he grew up a a U$C fan as well. We are more of a "blue collar" type of team where a recruit who has to prove himself comes. We seem to sift for possible gems and make them into better players. We get a few of them, yes, hope he is one of them.

I might be wrong but that's my view.

fwiw, he stated he grew up a husker fan. and i know we've never seen someone pick a husker hat on NSD or at an all star game, but that doesn't mean it'll never happen. im not saying he's a :bigredn: lock by any means, im just saying there's more interest than most think and if you get him down here for a visit anything can happen

Well, Priest said he is releasing his Top 10 once the opening is done with. So, although we're obviously in the top ten, be awaiting that today. :ahhhhhhhh

I think its worth noting he will be attending two Michigan games. Nebraska vs Michigan and Notre Dame vs Michigan for his officials.

But neither game is in the big house. I think they play at ND this year. Hopefully this means we wont lose this one to michigan and that he is visiting the home teams. I live in michigan, we cant lose any more recruits to them, im tired of hearing about it.
