CB/S Deshawn Raymond [TCU Commit]

It's going to be tough to pull the kid with his hometown offer of LSU there. Hopefully having Kendall in his ear causes him to take a longer look at Nebraska.

Said the crowd was crazier than any game he's been to - including LSU.

Also said having several Louisiana guys on the team makes a difference.

Will commit in November, graduate in December and enroll in January.

Older brother Derrick (Class of 2012) visited Nebraska before signing with LSU. However, after redshirting and not playing last year he transferred to a JUCO.

Per Callahan on Big Red Wrap-up, Derrick told Deshawn that he mad a mistake going to LSU. Not sure if that has any bearing (or if it's 100% accurate) but every little bit helps.

Heard that said too. Also thought I heard that his brother said he wished he went to NU.

I went back and looked at his profile...He had us #1 until LSU offered and he committed. He did take an OV here while he was committed to them and gave the visit a 10 but still said he was going to sign with them. Might have a great shot with Deshawn

 
All 13 predictions on 247 have him staying in state and attending LSU. Hopefully we can land this kid and complete what would be among the best secondary classes in the country.
