IMO yes, unless he shows out this year which is def possible. Depends how many CBs we want to take as well since I feel we are real thin there at the moment. LJ is a SR and Bootle a JR. I really like Taylor, Clark and Wright but that is all we have. Newsome seemed more of a S to me but we have him at corner currently.
I really doubt they'd cut him loose if they allowed him to commit so early. They'd have held him off if that were the case.
Grayson committed in April last year of the recruiting cycle and we told him to look elsewhere....
But he's just like Gunnerson - not a lot of stars, he must suck. Coaches really need to check 247/Rivals before extending an offer, do they realize how this makes us feel?
I think this rhetoric gets used too much on lower rated guys. Every Tom, d!(k and Harry new Gunnerson was underrated. There's a reason ND and others tried jumping in the mix.
He's probably the record holder in INT's and doesn't want his record to get broken.
