im really bummed about about TM to be honest.... im not gonna say that i think we will be okay without him.....might be the case but it coulndt hurt having him..... lets face it the guy was pretty shutdown

kinda bummed

wow.

just jumped in here because i had nothing better to do.

must say its half disturbing/half f'ing hilarious seeing the workup a high school kid gets out of some of you guys.

i couldnt even keep my meat arrow pointed in the same direction at that age for crying out loud, let alone what i was gonna do for the rest of my life.

this is actually fairly mild. since his committment last night there has been what...20 posts? Only 3-4 of them really all that negative. He'll mix in with all the 3* recruits and probably shine.

I'm sure this wasn't a suprise to the coaching staff, the've probably known this was going to be the case for weeks now. This just opened up a spot for a late committ like cooper/carnes. Last year we had 4 guys sign w/ us after new years, and none of them were "i'll announce at xyz all-america game" recruits - we're still in on some REALLY solid players. Guys like Lyons, Peat, Bryant, Lewis, Carter, Onwuasor, etc. Then you throw in a late JUCO or two we always seem to pick up.

Not worried about this at all. Everyone loses a couple guys each year.

Sucks to lose a kid with his type of talent but it doesn't change what we have at Nebraska. Would have loved to see this kid play with a couple years under Sanders and the Pelinis. He will be a great player wherever he goes....good luck Tevin.

Now on to the next one. We still have a great DB class and we are still in on a couple kids rated just as high as Tevin.

It would be a plus to grab another CB in this class, especially since it sounds like CJ may have qualifying issues. I hope this staff has some CB's in mind that they can make a push for.

Where did you hear that about Jackson?

I think it's a really old rumor that's still spinning around HI..

FWIW ... Jackson should be fine when ready to enroll.

The thing is this isn't something new to recruiting. I use to get so pissed off at these kids who commit and decommit. He's not the first one and he won't be the last. Look how many recruits we lost to Oregon over the past 3 years or so. I don't believe anything until they put their signature on that piece of paper.

Some VERY productive players in that list. When you figure out of a class of 25 only 10-15 really contribute, it's sad to see a list like this with 13 or so players and almost all of them are major contributers to their team...some of which like Lewis, B. Gabbert are among the best at their respective positions.
