Nebraska will be fine.
Interesting. I thought Javin Wright was our top CB target. Who knew? :dunnoLosing to Indiana on our top CB target.
Probably because we don't play them very oftenWe got Fair over IU so there's that. Win some, you lose some. Frost won't be losing much to Indiana going forward.
As long as he doesn't start tweeting out area codes, we'll be fine.Fisher just needs to go out and recruit harder, recruit harder.
Man you love to just add little jabs when you can.I have been told many times on this board that the coaching staff is doing everything correctly.
This right here...When he visited, he was measured for potential growth and with the frame he has, he wasn't going to get much bigger. Fisher wants big CBs that can be physical and also play safety if needed.Have to wonder if his size played a role in this.
I don't think this was the worst thing recruiting-wise. They got to feel the energy of the stadium and didn't have to sit through a boring blow-out (a nail-biter wouldn't have been a great result either). They still got to hang around and talk with the other recruits and even possibly had more time with the coaches. I don't know how many recruits actually care about seeing a game against Akron. Colorado or Michigan St. might be different, but I don't think the game has a major impact on the visit unless it is getting national attention.I guessing there is no way the NCAA would give them a rain check because of weather. The kids are here and get the full visit regardless of having a game or not. Sucks since we lose what would probably have been a win and may be the difference of being bowl eligible or not and the kids here for the game get to sit around and watch it rain instead. Can only imagine their visit was a huge disappointment.
I’d have to agree. I actually stood behind him at the airport in Omaha while boarding my flight and thought he was very small. I also had the feeling after listening to his mother talk that he wouldn’t be coming to Nebraska, but also not going to school anywhere in Florida. He also didn’t seemed too enthusiastic about the trip either...This right here...When he visited, he was measured for potential growth and with the frame he has, he wasn't going to get much bigger. No. I don't love itMan you love to just add little jabs when you can.
I’d rather have Fisher’s quirk of repeating phrases than the area code guy backAs long as he doesn't start tweeting out area codes, we'll be fine.
This guy is plagiarizing Held's move.
We didnt really want him anyway. I think we cooled on him. Too short at 5'-10"
