CFB Risk

  • I wish I could say I never saw this coming, but this is pretty much what I've expected for the last week and a half or so...
Yep. Not enough people and too many other teams that want us gone. Oh well. Good effort and we'll see if we can take some back tonight.

The only territory we stole was Missouri. We lost a lot we shouldn't have. But, that's okay we need to rally here, with some good luck for the last 3 turns we can still make a big impact.

Someone needs to break into Badger territory. They have been sitting back for too long. They need something else to think about besides OSU doing all their fighting for them.

Wisconsin and Alabama have the most territory relative to their star power, so they're probably the most vulnerable to attack, especially if that attack is spread across multiple territories so that they can't concentrate all of their defenders in a couple territories. In the words of the late great Sam Kinneson, "MOVE TO WHERE THE FOOD IS!!!"

  • There, that's better. We're still down, but we've got twice as many territories as last turn. And, well, we don't have to waste a bunch of resources trying to secure the west now.
  • And more importantly, we're in a much better position to attack right now. In particular, Wisconsin finally has a whoooole lotta territories that border us, and it's gonna be hard for them to defend them all. The Badgers are still pretty much the most overextended team in the game, and I'd like to see us keep pushing right into the middle of their heartland, to continue to maximize the number of territories they have to defend. Let's make it a bad, bad turn for them! :koolaid2:
  • Also, we're still at war with A&M, so their two territories that border us are obviously fair game.
  • Alabama and Ohio State are a bit lower priority, but that doesn't mean they don't need a good boot to the head!
