Chances of dropping Adidas after our contract is up?

In fairness, nothing on the field proves we should be getting paid more. Hell, wasn't NIU an adidas team? Good work by SE to get the deal done before this s#!tstorm of a season.

Plus, doesn't Basketball play a significant role in apparel deals? I don't think the Kansas deal was a huge surprise. No reason to pile on Eichhorst over this. Easy (lazy) target IMO.

Wonder if Nebraska already signed the deal or if there is an opt-out clause. We may not want to be associated with Adidas any longer.

We will have to wait and see how much this damages Adidas. However, I would surely believe both sides would have the ability to get out of a contract if one party does something to damage the reputation of the other.
Problem is.....if all hell breaks loose and it gets bad enough to get out of the Adidas contract, we aren't in a really big bargaining position with either Nike or Under Armor.
We could EASILY end up with a worse contract than the one we currently have. (and I'm fairly happy with that one).
