If someone from this board did this and is offended I am sorry but this is pretty bad.

seems pretty harmless. but i forgot...this is nebraska, where fans are expected to be loud, support the team and such, but with serious faces.

 
Clearly Mr. Wheeler is trying to promote his own Big 12 fansite by putting something like this event on Facebook.

 
Why in the hell would I want to wave a flag/towel that is the opposing team's colors? That makes no sense. "How awesome would it be if the whole stadium waved yellow flags? That'd show 'em!"

 
I find it funny how so many "classy" Nebraska fans try to make everybody else act in a way that they deem "classy". Get off your high horse, its not like they are handing out batteries to throw at the visiting fans.

I don't see this as "classless" I see it as a harmless prank/joke/whatever that will hurt nobody, and let some hurt/angry/upset fans vent their frustration. Sorry for all the slashes/.

Even if you deem yourself "better than that" it doesn't mean that its classless, rude, etc, etc... Let the students do their thing.

 
just as long as Bo doesnt get a hold of one everything should be fine. Death by posterior yellow hankie would be an odd autospy report, even for a ref.

Exactly what I thought. If you do it, it's not dissing the opposing team.

 
I think it's funny. Whether we are getting hosed by the refs or not, I think it would be pretty damn funny and they would get some time on air. I say do it.
