Chili Con Queso:

2-(4-oz.) Cans Green Chiles

***Add Some Jalapenos If You Like Spicy

1/2 Cup Finely Diced Fresh Tomatoes

1/2 Cup Finely Diced Onion

1/2 Cup Finely Diced Celery

2 Tsp. Tex-Mex Spice-Recipe Below

1 Cup Chicken Broth

1 lb. Yellow American Cheese, Cubed

***Found In The Deli Section Of Grocery Store

Tex-Mex Spice:

3 T. Plus 2 Tsp. Ground Cumin

3 T. Granulated Garlic

2 T. Salt

1 T. Coarsely Ground Black Pepper

Mix Tex-Mex Spice in a small airtight container.

***You can use this as seasoning in all your Mexican recipes.

Cooking The Queso:

In a saucepan, combine everything except the cheese; simmer for 5 minutes.

Turn the heat to medium low and add the cheese; stir occasionally until melted.

Put into serving bowl and serve with your favorite Tortilla Chips.
