Chinander Defence: 103 lost points in last 3 games

Chinander got lucky his last 3 games a UCF.  

Auburn, Memphis, and USF, were driving to score at the end of each of those games.  
 

It was untimely turnovers that stopped them, not Chinander.  

Those teams at the end of those games were carving through his defense like a hot knife through butter.

SEEM FAMILIAR?  Except now the other teams aren’t beating themselves.

...said the team captains on their way to a 4-8 season.

Against 3 teams we walk all over on the recruiting front.  Yeesh.

Pretty much everyone who payed attention to Frost at UCF knew we'd be in this position now if he brought Chinander along.   Extremely frustrating because I do agree with the belief that we need some continuity in the coaching staff, but Chin was clearly never the answer.

Quite the sticky wicket.

Chinander gave up 124 points in this last 3 games at UCF!

And 55 of those were against a team they were playing for a second time that season whom they had previously held to 13 points.  It is always harder to slow a team down the second time.

I said when chin came over, "the only reason that defense worked was that the offense was scoring more then the defense gave up"..  That is not the case here and its GLARING...

I'm of the opinion that new coaches should be given run way. That being said, Chin's defense f#&%ing sucks.

We know what you mean, but how much the defense can give up does depend on the offense. Iowa's D needs to hold teams to 10 points per game, and they can a lot of times because they only defend 50 plays when their offense is clicking.

Chins defense was ridiculed even as UCF won. We dont have that offense and until we do, we wont win with this defense.
