Chris Jones out 4-6 months

Hoping this works out.  But it seems like a pretty decent gamble.

Back on the shortest end of the recovery time and said to only be playing part of the game does not sound that healthy to me.

If he's not healthy enough to be playing the entire game, I'm not sure he should be out there.  If he's not healthy enough to do that, we're risking poor play at best and reinjury at worst.

If this ends up happening

I'm now predicting he'll play sparingly in the Illinois game and be ready for Wisconsin.

Hoping it's more along the lines of rusty, the guys are now 5 games into playing together, team chemistry and all that........Be incredibly stupid if he's "almost there" and the staff wants to see how close he is.

doubt his conditioning is ready for a full game.  You can train all you want in the gym and it isn't the same as playing in the game - he also hasn't probably been in the gym much until recently.  Guessing the staff know what they are doing, however it sounds like you have your share of doubt.

According to the newspapers, he played more as the game went on.  Don't know if that's right or not.

But considering how much they ran (all over us) in the second half, that would explain why he wasn't really in on many plays.

I counted at minimum 10 snaps. I would wager around 20
