I am unsure if this is the proper mechanism to contact administrators about a function problem. Please move it if necessary. The Help section doesn’t seem to answer this dilemma directly.

For the last 10 days or so, I am not able to respond directly to posts. (Pushing the quote button seems to be futile.). I am certainly no tech whiz, so the problem may lie with me, but I have not made any changes to my computer so am puzzled how/why the function no longer works. It is really frustrating to have to quote, cut and paste to a response that may be multiple posts away from the response I’m trying to generate. Often times the lack of sequential responses detracts from the intent so it’s easier to just forget it. I am also unable to directly post. It will only allow a post IF I first select More Reply Options. Then it will enable me to post.

Also, in the same recent time frame, a trip to the various forums reveals a scattershot format totally unlike what the set-up used to be. (More of an outline form). Again, it appears to be a formatting issue on my end. Is there a default option to return it to original form?

I’d certainly appreciate any advice or suggestions to return to the basic set-up.

Thanking you in advance.

He should be good to go. Somehow, he had set his skin to the default, which is not the QB Live. I set it to QB Live.

I'll PM him and see if that fixed it.

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to help. But I received this PM:

Just for your info.........in case others run into this problem.
My computer guy worked for several hours and he says the problem is definitely with FIrefox (and their recent update) has caused a bunch of problems for his customers with everything from printing to passwords. That time frame corresponds to my issues so it makes sense. He feels that the Mozilla folks will be fixing the problems soon because of all the complaints on a host of issues.

Regardless, thanks again for your efforts and I will be using Internet Explorer until Firefox gets it fixed.

I use firefox almost exclusively. Since they've went to this accelerated update format, they are sucking.

When it stops or causes problems I head over to the ie9 for a bit. or chrome or safari :D
