2011 was terrible for retention and production as well. And 2012 wasn't far behind as a group2017 sure turned out to be a bust of a class already

Common problemThanks for catching that. Our class rank is #22. Looked at the wrong number.
Ok, I misread the number of players as the class rank.
Rankings now final though the class will have a couple more additions yet....

This IMO is very likely. This is his first full cycle recruiting class and is following a 4-8 year. Him and his staff are settled in and win the wins show up on the field the class rankings will only get better.PS....as a side note Lord.....Please allow this also to be one of the lowest average player rating classes of the Scott Frost era.
I think we have to set our goals to consistently be above the .88 average rating. That should be be our goal every year.
(I do understand there may be some players Frost targets that he believes fit his system which may drag it down)
I dream of a day our average is above .90.Finally hitting that .88 average. That should be the floor moving forward (hopefully).
Not impossible if we have a lot of really talented in state guys.I dream of a day our average is above .90.
It will be hard, but we need our in-state guys to pan out so future guys can get respect from recruiting services. Look at a guy like Piper who is a low 3 star. He is 6'4 270 that ran a camp 4.8 40yd dash and has around a 30 inch vertical. His measurements are almost identical to the #1 player in the country Anthony Alfano. Now I realize that those are just measurements and dont exactly correlate to the football field, but guys like Piper will probably "drag" our ratings down, but I can live with that bc I think that kid will be a stud for us.Not impossible if we have a lot of really talented in state guys.
Im gunna bet that Piper wasn't running the camp circuit either. So some of this stuff is grain of salt worthy. Piper is a great athlete for his size and maybe if he plays class A, he is a high 3 or low 4 star without the camps. If he had ran the camp circuit this past summer he certainly would have been at lowest a mid 3 star. Seeing guys similar to my size with that much ability frustrates me, because some of that you just cant work on to achieve what he already has.It will be hard, but we need our in-state guys to pan out so future guys can get respect from recruiting services.
