Computer help

do a google search for unhide.exe and find one that will let you download it. should give you multiple options and yes its freeware
tried that still didn't work. Fact is, I other issues as well. So I will just back up the files and format it. I lost my firefox browser. Unistalled and reinstalled, but still have the same issue. Just tired of fookin with it.

1) Find or buy a blank CD-R

2) Burn Ubuntu to the CD.

3) When starting up your computer, hit whatever F1-F12 key gets you into the boot selection screen and boot from the CD.

4) View all your files and back them up to an external.

I guess that's already been suggested!

Call microsoft and tell them that your hard drive was wiped and that you lost your microsoft programs. They will often just give you a new product key. This happens to kids on campus and they just have to call and microsoft just sends them a new product key and are good to go.
