Is this freeware?ok the next and most likely way to fix this is to use a program on it.

download that and click on it to run it and it should change everything back to what it was before the malware. i have used this on a few client computers in the past and it seems to work pretty well.
tried that still didn't work. Fact is, I other issues as well. So I will just back up the files and format it. I lost my firefox browser. Unistalled and reinstalled, but still have the same issue. Just tired of fookin with it.do a google search for unhide.exe and find one that will let you download it. should give you multiple options and yes its freeware
Call microsoft and tell them that your hard drive was wiped and that you lost your microsoft programs. They will often just give you a new product key. This happens to kids on campus and they just have to call and microsoft just sends them a new product key and are good to go.Did a re-install of windows 7 home premium. Unfortunetly I lost the activation key or at least the one I was able to recoveer from the computer didn't work. Said it was an invalid code.
