Conservatism... A basic instinct?

Basically it says wen you remove the higher brain functions, people tend to express Conservative ideology. The cool thing is they did this, in part, by asking drunk people to fill out a survey. Maybe they should use our "Bump when Drunk" thread to find subjects....

People always do this if they are multitasking. Most of the time they will give a conservative answer to be done with it when they don't have time for a lengthy explanation.

 
Well there's a shocker; people under pressure or tense situations fall back on tried and true answers. Who would've ever thought keeping it simple and effective would ever be resorted to?
