The first half of this game was some of the worst football we've played in some time (and that's saying a lot considering our past 2 decades).  We struggled to stop Oregon and they ran all over us!

My biggest concern is the implosion from within any time something doesn't go our way.   Tipped pass intercepted and they score, a tipped 3rd and long falls into their hand and they score, a terrible snap on 4th and 1 and a conversion is reversed.... they score.   We don't have the leadership to rally on the field when those plays happen!

Thet being said......

Our coaches rallied them in the second half.  You can say Oregon played not to lose, but we were a different team.   The deffense  swarmed and had swagger, the offense  executed and pulled out some amazing plays!   Our coaches know what they are doing and they will put us in position to win.  Don't hammer to hard on them, we need a leader!!!!  We need a player on both sides of the ball to rally the troops and pick them up.  A few implosions handled differently, and we would have had a different game and different team on our hands.  Give the coaches some slack!

I think there were definitely some bright spots amongst a rough performance on the road. I like the defenses potential. The offense can be good when we run more than we throw. That was tough today because we got into a hole early. I think we have a team that can navigate the west IF we get better QB play. Tanner has to play better than he did today. If he doesn't we need to see someone else.

I want to know why this game played out dang near the same as last week. Opposing offense had their way with us the whole first half, then we held them scoresless in the second. Was true this week, nearly true last week barring the garbage td that let them back into the game...
