Imani was in beast mode tonite! sparty had no answer for him and he ran with bad intentions and im happy for once he gets more than a few snaps to shine. SALUTE!

Our bigger backs (Cross tonight and Ozigbo in other games) have made our running game look strong and consistent. Everything else we seem to try has not worked out well. Newby is great for screens, but if we want to pound the ball, it's obvious tonight we CAN do it, but it requires a commitment by this staff to make it a priority.

There were still about 5-8 plays that were passes that needed to be runs, including the plays where Tommy threw the pick in the redzone. However, there was definitely a better commitment to the run tonight and that was nice to see. I just don't know if Langdorf is going to get antsy and revert back to his pass happy philosophy or actually learn from this game and lean on the run from here on out.

Great to see him run well tonight...he was running inside and outside with a purpose!
