Former Nebraska running back Dahrran Diedrick is in a tough fight right now. He needs help and some Husker fans out there are no doubt willing to provide it. The 37-year-old has been diagnosed with lymphoma, which requires a combination of chemotherapy and a stem cell transplant, according to a site trying to raise funds to deal with the costs.

As noted in the link, Diedrick is unemployed due to the illness and facing a significant financial strain. The initial goal was to get $10,000. As of 1:30 p.m. on Friday, there had been $13,815 donated.
