After everything he has done to get to this point, this is concerning. Wonder if the coaches were going to ask him to play a position he was no longer comfortable with

I'm told LaCouture's decommit from Nebraska essentially was a mutual agreement. Probably best that they part ways, actually.

 
There were whispers of this back a couple months ago... I thought it was just a bunch of bull. Looks like it has now come out as truth. If it's mutual I can only think of three reasons why... either (A) There's some character issues here. (B) He doesn't fit in with the football team personality wise or interest wise. or © He's not as good as the coaches want/need him to be. Sometimes once coaches get to know a player better they find stuff like this out.

 
I heard from another board that we wanted him to move inside to DT, and he absolutely does not want that, hence his looking elsewhere now.

 
He takes a visit to LSU soon. He has decommitted from the Huskers, but he hasn't committed anywhere else. As long as he hasn't committed anywhere else, we still have chance. Though it is significantly less likely that he will come back to Nebraska.

 
Sure hope that if this is a personality/ fitting in thing that the coaches are right. We are not very deep right now on the front 4 and need every warm body we can sign
