DE Christian Lacouture [LSU Commit]

@CLacouture88

"Lincoln was fun. Had a great year of football met some awesome people who I loved going to war with!. Now time to prepare for college!"
He's leaving Lincoln..? His team is in the second weekend of playoffs! :dunno
didn't his team get beat on Friday? Pretty sure he is done for the season.
Edit: My bad. Definitely messed up the team he plays for. :confucius My apologies.

I heard from another board that we wanted him to move inside to DT, and he absolutely does not want that, hence his looking elsewhere now.
I just don't see him as a DE in College, maybe in a 3-4 system that utilizes DEs less than 300 lbs, but I never really saw him as DE. I think more than anything the staff is going for DE's that move well in space, it wasn't going to be this guy.

I actually think he would make a better DT and I believe his body is growing towards that whether he likes it or not. I hope he changes his mind

I'm not trying to throw salt on Christian, but it didn't seem as though he was dominant as he could have been in NE competition. Personally to me, he seemed better suited to play on the interior.

Nobody knows the details of what is going on right now. Rivals is on it and will release details once they figure out wtf happened.

I know people are saying "Pass" and stuff like that about this kid. But look at his offer list. It stings to lose a kid with that list at that position.

I've heard this kid has gotten dominated on the hs level at times. After this years blaring exposures on the d line... I'm sure the coaches have gotten their world shaken and realize we need creme of the crop guys. Not saying it has anything to didn't with this.. but I'm sure the staff isn't losing sleep over Christian.

Same here, 270 seems pretty heavy for a DE. I think we are trying to get faster DEs that can sack the QB quickly. If you look at the best DEs in the league such as Jadeveon Clowney (USC, who killed us last year) and DaMontre Moore (A&M) they're both around 250 pounds
