Any new news on this guy.... i no he is very high on nebraska and said he probably commit if they offered?

i heard a rumor that he received an offer from oregon state... or at least he'll get one from them soon. nothing from us yet. if we offer, i dont think it will take long to commit

Awhile back I mentioned to EZ-E that I really liked Dylan's film because he reminded me of a young Grant Wistrom. He has a great motor and seems to fit the Pelini mold of the blue-collar workhorse type. As already mentioned above, I too have heard that if NU offered, he would commit.

I'm pretty sure we've taken small guys at DE and just bulked them up. The height may be one thing, but he could grow and there's no cookie cutter requirements anyways, I'd imagine. Wasn't Meredith 235 out of HS? etc...a lot of HS DE's are pretty small, then they bulk up in college. You don't really just pluck around and find these 280 pound ends.
I believe Meredith was more like 250 when he got here, maybe it's Josh Williams your thinking of. He was listed at only 225 coming in, but he was also 6'4" which gave him a lot of room to grow. I'm not saying Wynn is too small to play here, I'm just a little skeptical that the coaches will offer him at DE in a year when NU isn't exactly hurting for talent on the line.

True we aren't hurting this year, but we will still probably take two DE's

Rivals lists him at 6'3", which probably means he's 6'2" and will hopefully be 6'3" by graduation. On his camp-video he looks like a put-together kid.

There's been some talk that Dylan might not get an offer because of his size, however, it is interesting to note that Anthony Chickillo has similar measurables except he's actually a little lighter... he's got an offer and NU is hot after him.

I have a feeling that if Dylan has a hot motor, a great attitude, really wants to play for Nebraska, and is as good at camp as he is on film, the kid will get an offer and commit soon after...

I've been reading this board for a few months now and really enjoy all the insight and opinions . I finally decided to sign up and was wondering what the deal with Dylan was , i mean it seems to me this kid should have around 15 offers by now . Is there some reason hes not getting more attention from NU as well as other schools?

At this point he has six offers...

Wash. State, SD State, Oregon State, Oklahoma State, Ohio, Cal Poly

I think we have time with him and the coaches are evaluating some more and looking at our other top prospects. I would suspect he will get an offer sometime in the summer.
