How can a high school afford that? Locker space, equipment etc...

Bigger team likely equals bigger district with bigger tax rolls. Probably harder for some of the six or eight man teams around here to afford outfitting their teams.

I am sure they don't dress 174 for every game. Saying you got on TV was the most likely motivator.

Anyways I assume schools can afford it. Pretty much all the big schools in Nebraska have at least 4 teams full of kids this fall. Some have 5.
