Has been talking package deal with Zach Hannon for quite some time, and out of all package deals you hear about these guys really sound like they want to play together. With Mathis waiting until the UAA game to announce im not sure what the coaches would do. If they tell Boyd to hold off on committing we could risk losing Hannon.

Personally i say they take both of these kids and forget about Mathis, it really sounds like he wont make it. Would suck if we lost both of them waiting for Mathis and then he never qualifies.

I agree I think we need to be done with mathis. he had several blowups at the opening and other players and coaches didnt like him one bit. lets let him go the juco route or wherever and lets take boyd and hannon as a package.

what makes everyone so sure mathis would even pick us.. i know what he said in the past but that was then and we havent heard much since while others have been hot on his tail... bet U$C could find a way to get him to campus......

USC and Mich are getting full, so i wouldnt worry abotu them for too much longer. I would say it will come down to NU and Washington for Mathis. I dont think he qualifies in time, so it probably wont matter.

It's going to come down to a couple JuCo's for Mathis.

Back onto Boyd, his measurables are nice and he looks like a 35 year old in profile pic.

With Hannon committing, the ball is now in Boyd's court. The Huskers haven't fared well lately trying to do package deals with recruits. It's time to break that string and get Boyd on the Husker wagon. Pull the trigger Jamone!
