DE Kevin Bronson [Virginia Tech - Signed LOI]

Tim Beck visited while in Florida for Darlington. Told him to expect Bo, Pap, and Kaz to visit next week. Bronson already has OVs to Arkansas, Rutgers, South Carolina and Virginia Tech. Nebraska is trying to get the fifth, but it might go to UCF, instead.

Bronson is a VA Tech lean and visiting them this weekend, but with 4 defensive linemen commits and Derrick Nnadi ahead of Bronson on VA Tech board, Bronson does not have an offer from them. Also, Nebraska is recruiting him at DE (his preferred position), but VA Tech wants him at DT.

Nebraska will have to sell these points and wait for Bronson visit. If he does not get a VA Tech offer, I think we have a good shot.

Edit: just saw VA Tech offered. Not sure if it is committable, but will be interesting to see how that affects Bronson decision and Nebraska recruiting of other prospects.

Sounds like VaTech is in danger of losing one of their current commits.

Lloyd Tubman was supposed to get an offer durring his in home from Bo today and is visiting the 31st. Tubman runs a 4.5 as a DE. That is serious speed.

I just watched both of their films. Both are quick, atheletic, and pursue the run to the edge well. It looks like Bronson does a better job getting off his blocks and has 20 lbs on Tubman. I won't hate on pick up either, but I prefer Bronson.

Are you sure about this?  The dead period ends today. Tomorrow is the first day they can see and talk to recruits.

Tubman claims to be up around 245 now and is a little taller so they might be pretty close to the same build.

Not positive at all. On the "Lloyd Tubman" page under recruiting someone posted that he was going to receive a scholarship offer today.
