I still wish we could have gotten him. But really, it seems like he is more interested in him than a team mentality. Maybe I'm wrong and he will really dedicate himself to them once he signs.

No, that ego is there, and it is readily apparent. As to whether he flourishes, who knows? But I'm glad we avoid the headaches.

Well, glad this saga is finally over. Problem is now we have Alaric Jackson and Noah Fant as a yearly reminder that they could have been N.

Here is to hoping we make them regret that decision every Black Friday.

Meh, I look at Jackson and just see Farniok. And the way Fant's recruitment played out, I don't have so much as a tinge of regret we didn't sway him.

I see Jackson as a Prima Donna Farniok. Fant? Meh. I'll take someone else close to his skill level that actually wants to be here. Motivation can be a difference maker!!

 
Not sure if this is the proper place to post this, and I can't attach twitter links from this machine, but has anyone else seen the drama involving Fant's father and brother?  They appear to have an issue with his playing time.  Called out the staff on twitter, then went back and forth with fans.

Haven't seen it, what a joke though, guess I'm glad we aren't dealing with that.

Feel good that we landed the "Next Fant" though in this class.

But, dang, that would be fun pissing off Hawkeye fans.

This is possibly the most frustrating recruiting loss in years.

I can think of about 4 that are just as frustrating if not more, in the past handful of years.
