Was going to go to Pola-Gates route where he signed in December but didn't announce until the all-star game.  But now with no game he's changed plans.

Yeah, everything points that way.  He has previously said that he has made his decision and informed all the coaches in involved what his decision was.  Just hadn't announced it publicly yet.  Based on what recruiting reports have turned up and the fact that we seem to have passed on other potential recruits, I think about everyone would be shocked if it's not us.

There have been some rumblings that COVID has him considering staying closer to home.

My guess would be 2-5 has him thinking stay closer to home and Covid is a much easier way to let us down.
