Defensive Play Discussion

I thought we did a nice job of bringing blitzes from different looks and doing it fairly regularly.

However, I didn't like how many times we brought blitzes from the secondary where they were so far away at the snap that even if they wouldn't have gotten blocked they couldn't get there in time.

Totally agree with this.  That was frustrating to watch.

We should hire Muschamp as a defensive analyst now that he is available.   Not the best at HC but he is a great defensive mind.

I wanted to give Collin Miller a shout out, we have been hard on him this year.  I thought he played fast and hit hard against Penn State.

I agree.  However, I'm still wondering why the starting ILBs isn't Honas and Reimer.

I think Miller has become a stable leader and voice on the defense. I'm good with Miller starting and then a rotation of the 3 throughout the game.

I've had a couple drinks and am pondering.

Wouldn't it be awesome if the defense would build off of those red zone stops at the end of the game and become more and more dominating over the next 4 games?  That would allow the offense to gel and hopefully give them the ball more in good field position.

And....we kick Iowas a$$.

I like where your game's at right now, Buster.
