Defensive Play

Adjustments are good.

The ability to shed blocks is better.

Frost mentioned it.....they knew what Minnesota was going to do.....but we got physically manhandled.
The team must be worried having  to have to face Wisky and Iowa.......

And something that needs to be corrected....

An interesting stat line on Chin's D.....

The Huskers started the season off strong up front, allowing 82 rushing yards and just a smidge more than 2 per carry over their first three games. In four Big Ten games, though, Nebraska has been among the leakiest units in the league.

Erik Chinander’s defense is allowing 267 rushing yards per game and 5.9 per carry (both 13th in the Big Ten ahead of only Illinois) and has given up a conference-worst 12 rushing touchdowns.

Any coach with half a brain knows Nebraska has no front seven and you can run right at them all day long. Every team we play now is going to run stretch plays and either beat them to the edge or cut back because the linebackers aren't disciplined. Chin is in way over his head.

Tuioti even saying to win the B1G you have to stop the run........I remember Connecticut fans happy Diaco left and felt sorry we were getting him....And UCF fans glad to see Chin go.  Even spelling his name Chinaner because he forgot the "D".....

Speaking of linebackers I wonder if we'll still get to see Henrich this year. Ruud made it sound like he might get some time in the second half of year year and I was really disappointed with our backers on Saturday.

Wow. That is really bad. This combined with the offense, and it's going to be very difficult winning anymore games.

That stat is almost unbelievable. 267 rushing yards per game? Wow!

Frost backtracked some of his "pushed around" comments today, and put more of the blame on LBs/Safeties missing run fits. Which matches what some posters were saying.
