Did anyone find out what happened with Turner Gill?

According to one of the articles, Buffalo has a game at Missouri next year. Sounds like a perfect opportunity to road trip and root on Gill and the University of Buffalo.
Why does that not surprise me, that Missouri would have them on their OCS.
Have you seen are non-conference schedule for 2010??

We maybe the new K-State

Considering Ohio State, Hawaii, and KU had 3 of the weakest schedules in D1 and all 3 are playing in BCS bowl games and one in the NC game; I personally don't see this as a bad thing. I think the system is completely broken by putting them 3 in BCS bowl games, but as it is now the weaker the schedule the better.

I have a funny feeling that Gill Turner may be HC at Nebraska some day down the road sometime, unless he is the AD. He has a lot of class, and you can bet that I will be paying attention to and cheering for Buffalo in the future.

They were close!

Just curious - have we EVER played a "tough" non-conference schedule?

Who does? What is the "ideal" that we're hoping for here?
1981 looked pretty good:

S 12 at Iowa (7/) L, 7-10 60,160

S 19 Florida State (17/19) W, 34-14 76,289

S 26 Penn State (15/3) L, 24-30 76,308

O 3 Auburn (/) W, 17-3 76,423

1986 looked pretty good:

S 6 Florida St.^* (8/11) W, 34-17 75,865

S 20 at Illinois^ (6/) W, 59-14 75,865

S 27 Oregon (4/) W, 48-14 76,185

O 4 at South Carolina (3/) W, 27-24 73,109

I'm just basing this on traditional powers and conferences

I agree. Back in the day we used to play a tough non conf. schedule. Remember the Penn State game that cost us the Nat. Championship? Maybe you're to young. Todd Blackledge remembers very well. he knows they lsot.
