Discontent in the AD?

He really captured the bizarre, totally fabricated reporting that portrayed Miles as a martyr and Moos as an evil doer.  I was disappointed that Moos kept his remarks short at Hoibergs introductory presser but it makes sense.  He gave the media nothing that could be twisted and let his homerun hire do the talking for him.  Moos handled the firing of Miles and hiring of Hoiberg flawlessly.  Hopefully our embattled AD can survive these awesome coaching hires.

Its satire...

It seems weird to me that some people can't just be happy. They always have to have some drama around.

The discontent is not in the AD's office, I mean I am sure there are some people in the office that are not happy, that is normal at every job in the world...and I am sure there are som axe-grinders that sometimes leak out some drama BS...

The discontent is that for about 5-8 years local radio hosts and newspaper writers had it f#&%ING MADE!  Not in chronological order

"Mad man Bo"

Firing of Bo

Leaked tape of Bo

Hiring of SE

Firing of SE

Hiring of Riley

Firing of Riley

Huskers make the dance

QB Controversy

Leaving the Big 12

Joining the Big 10

It was an endless list of s#!t to write/talk about it with drama attached to a lot of it...that makes their life easy!

Now look...

Not much drama...you have the hottest young coach that also went to NU back coaching the team...and you have the most sought after name (that didn't have a job) coaching the basketball team.

Their next chance for real drama will be the actual season...

That Dan Wolken tweet is a laugh riot.

"In over his head."  Oof.
Wolken appears to be a lazy national columnist that played a hunch that Moos, a former football player and AD known for football coaching hires would have difficulty hiring a good b-ball coach to Nebraska.

Poor Dirk got so twisted around over this every ounce of credibility was wrung out of him.
