Do we really want to play in the CCG?

I understand that you play to compete but do we really want a chance to get embarrassed on national TV again? Then again it could be a great opportunity to beat a good Ohio State team. I am a Bo supporter and think our defense has stepped up the past few weeks but I am not completely sold on them yet. Don't forget OSU will try to run the score up on us to get style points and make themselves look better. I am excited in the direction we are heading after the start of the season. GBR

Maybe we should forfeit the rest of the games and just play in some little dinky bowl against the Sunbelt Champion? Personally, I hope to play the Cajuns in the New Orleans Bowl, but that's just me.

Seriously, people really are worried about looking stupid? This is a clown question bro

I mean personally I don't wanna look stupid and get blown up on national TV. Not saying we will, just saying in general I wouldn't want that to happen to me.

I don't either, but I would rather take the risk with the chance that we attain glory.

If we make it to the CCG, that means we're a pretty damn good team and made significant strides from the team that we looked like in the first 6 weeks of the season.

So, yes, if we beat MSU, I have all the faith in the world we can hang with tOSU.

If we do play Ohio State this year, I just hope we keep it close. Sure I'd be disappointed with a loss, but I'm kind of burned out on watching the Huskers get embarrassed.

But before we worry about any of that, we need to realize beating Michigan State will be no small task. This is the best version of that team we've seen yet. If they play like they did against Michigan, and we play like we did against Michigan, there's a good chance we'll get clobbered. Have to have another great defensive performance, and the offense needs to step it up - quite a bit. Not impossible, Michigan State isn't exactly a top tier team nationally, but they're the toughest conference test we'll face this year by a pretty large margin methinks.
