Doesn't look like Gameday will be visiting East Lansing for NU game

I honestly thought it might be a possibility. While I'd love to see it at Lincoln, it would be nice if our game was the marquee matchup even if it was away.

But I was listening to SVP today on the way home and he sent a message to Ole Miss. "Take care of business against Memphis this weekend and you will likely be getting a visit from a certain Saturday TV show".

That doesn't really mean much. We won't know for sure till Saturday.

If Ole Miss wins, they are probably 8 or 9 and Bama is #3.

That is a bigger matchup than a top 10 and a top 20 team in a crappy conference.

It makes sense.Could also make an argument for AM/Miss State or LSU/Auburn or Stanford/Notre Dame... All those might be better matchups according to the nation.

Yeah, I think you're right. I know if I was an impartial ESPN staffer the Grove>East Lansing anyway. Fun place to see a game.

ESPN crew would much rather show this all day:

Get used to it. With the circular voting logic in the SEC, and ESPN's significant financial investment, Gameday will be camped out in the southeast all year.
