Well you were half right. Under the bus went Cohen. Trump's trying to joke off the matter on Twitter.



I watched some of Giuliani on CNN last night trying to spin this. It was just sad. He would jump back and forth between poor arguments that Cuomo would knock down like Whack-a-moles, and ultimately just kept circling back around to stuff that had already been rebutted. They were in full-on character assassination mode against Cohen. I guess they figure since the guy has completely defected there's nothing left to do but try to destroy his image like they did with Comey, McCabe, Yates...

 
So, this is fun. I'm 1000% sure this guy is just raking as much sh#t as possible in our direction to try to destabilize the country. Nothing is coincidental with people like Putin. He announced this today to embarrass Trump after a very bad week of news and the McCaskill hacking stuff coming out yesterday.

Shoot give me Hillary, Rutherford B Hayes, Warren Harding or Carter before we accept russian hacking as preferable to a duly elected president.   Anyone who prefers Russian hacking which undermines the very core of our democracy, the right to vote in a fair election, has the 'spirit of treason' in their heart and no understanding in their brain.

This is probably why we're seeing the vermin in the GOP cling to Trump's Presidency while public opinion washes away the taters of any shreds of decency they had left on their body. When you start throwing the 'T' word around, and the opposition party gains power, history usually indicates that heads will roll...figuratively and literally.

The problem is that this spiteful, petty, flame-throwing President, is dismantling liberal policies and institutions at a level conservatives had only dreamed of.  The GOP may hate his tweets and scold him about Putin, but they are every bit as responsible for the real damage being done to America, and for hiding how it will hurt the Trump demographic every bit as much — or more — than their supposed Blue State adversaries. 

If Trump is impeached tomorrow, we would still have the 2017 tax reform bill in place. If we don't talk about how many people that hurts and how Democracy is compromised, then chronic Trump Distraction wins.

I don't care if we "get" Trump on Russia if we don't address the real problems. 

 
How sad. Rudy could have rode off into the sunset with a pretty great legacy, but he chose this path. He could have been know as the guy who went after the mafia as an Attorney, cleaned up New York's crime infested streets, and guided a major city (and nation really) through a horrendous time after 9/11 becoming America's mayor. But now this is going to be his legacy...

BTW, more articles about Russia hacking in the 2018 election, specifically targeting vulnerable democrats (read: with slim or leads that are within the margin of error) all over the United States have been posted...but hey, our voting machines aren't vulnerable--Trump even said as mu...oh FFS...

So DEFCON happened, which hosts a yearly hack-a-thon, and this year's subject was extremely timely--voting machines. It only took 90 minutes for them to be hacked.  :facepalm:

Schürmann penetrated Advanced Voting Solutions' 2000 WinVote machine through its Wi-Fi system. Using a Windows XP exploit from 2003, he was able to remotely access the machine, CNET reports.

Synack, a San Francisco security platform, discovered serious flaws with the WinVote machine months ahead of this weekend's convention. The team simply plugged in a mouse and keyboard and bypassed the voting software by clicking "control-alt-delete."
