Don't be surprised if MN runs the score up on us

Many up there view this Saturday as a potential statement-game for them. Expect them to deviate from their conventional script and throw deep, and often (they have enough speed and hands at the wide-out spots to get it done).

Talked to a good friend who knows a few people close to the team.

It appears to be EVERY teams game plan... Throw deep. Wisconsin is not a passing team and they came out and fired deep. This isn't really news.

Sorry, not buying into that.

We have lost 4 games. However, nobody has "ran the score up on us" even though we all are very frustrated with our defense. Those 4 losses have come by the skin of their teeth. Minnesota's offense is only scoring 19.7 points per game. Our pass defense is bad but their offense just flat out isn't scoring points.

The Golden Gophers might be dreaming of running up the score but....I'm just not seeing it.

I really do not care if they do or do not want to make a statement this coming Saturday against us. Reality is that we have nothing to lose at this point and I do not think they will run up the score on us. We have been holding our own this season and not quitting. Tell your friend to tell those who want to make a statement the Huskers are coming into town and we will play who can play on the gridiron.

FYI, Leidner is the worst Passing QB we will have faced so far.
Outside of Kaaya , so were most of the others... #slumpbusterNU

Yep. If they want to drop him back to pass over 25 times, be my guest. The game Stave had didn't surprise me one bit. I really don't think Leidner has it in him. The offense just needs to give the defense a cushion in the case they wear down in the 2nd half.
