Poor guy seems to have had a really, really rough start to the year so far.

I hope that phenomenal in-your-face punt return is the start of a decisive comeback. Go get 'em, DPE! Don't Punt!

It looked to me like DPE had a complete different demeanor after that return. I thought he looked dejected and frustrated. After that he was all jacked up. I think we start to see more and more of the old DPE.

The people who say it may have saved the game could not have been more right. We were completely demoralized after that backwards pass fumble return. DPE relit the fire, and the offense found a way to hang a TD on 'em before the half ended.

Beautiful game we played today. Glad to see DPE shaking the rust off. Hope he can stay healthy, because he's a game changer if he can.

I also thought he looked a little tentative at the start. In fact the whole team seemed just a little tight. BUT, I agree, I think that after that punt return he really got a boost of confidence.

Ya, i think dpe has just been a little tentative and unsure since coming back. Eventually you just have to nut up and do it. He did that today and i have a good feeling its exactly what he needed to get that confidence back and hes gonna start getting nasty now.

It sure would help if our punt return lineman would maintain their blocks. You can't expect to get too many returns when we release our blocks so quickly.

Has he slowed any from his injury? I was surprised he was caught, or maybe the the Oregon player just had the angle on him.

I think he really needed confidence that he still has it after his injury. Think he has it now.

Tommy Armstrong took DPE aside and told him they needed something big before his clutch return....make no mistake, Tommy is the leader of this team.

Not to nitpick, but why wasn't he voted captain then?
