Bo wants to run a two gap, that is why he is getting the players he is getting. My thoughts on the two gap is that you need leverage. Steinkuhler is 6-6 it is hard to get leverage at that size. Bo is not going to abandon the two gap. Look at the DT's he is going for.

Just b/c an end stands up doesnt mean you dont count them on the line. Alot of people want to just count those with their hands on the ground as lineman but that isnt truly right. Many 3-4 teams walk up a LB on plays basically giving a 4-3 look. Nobody, nojody runs a 2-4 base. Thats just ignorant saying that and you'd be laughed out of any room with football people in it.

 
San Francisco ran a defense with 2 down lineman, and called it a 2-5. Granted it was not there base, but you are obviously unintelligent and missing the point.

Keep talking football and discussing what you please, but there is no reason to say they are unintelligent. That just makes it sound like you have the "holier than thou" mentality which is obnoxious and annoying. No reason to say it as it adds nothing of substance.

 
Thought peso was a safety/corner/linebacker hybrid... essentially safety size, linebacker tackling ability, and corner coverage skills with above average speed...

And a 2-4? Uh, wtf? Pretty sure it would be a 2-5..and that's a pretty odd D.

I think they're trying to see if Johnson is open to a grey shirt there because of the knee. Or at least thats the rumor going around. I've never felt like we were out of it with him even when everyone thought he was a lock for Georgia. The coaches kept saying they were feeling good about our chances which is all we can ask for. I think sometimes our coaches get duped just a little because they are very honest with a player and sometimes a player isn't as honest back with them. I know that's happened with more than one kid we lost. We've been told I'm coming your way only to find out he's signing elsewhere. I guess I don't want a kid like that on the team, but I feel bad for a coach who's built a relationship with these kids only to have them yank the rug out so to speak. Such is life though.

You cant be older then 16 so im trying to keep this in mind when posting. Your not going to get anywhere with this attitude. If you would like to learn anything about football, i would suggest listening to others and only chiming in if you have any questions about basic defensive philosophys.

Seriously dude? You're calling people out when they're telling you to think before YOU speak. You cite ONE instance of a team running a 2-4 (which I can almost guarantee it wasn't) and then start saying how they know nothing about football...

Not to mention the other rants you've gone on in other threads... saying how you hate other kids, idiots, etc.
