A verbal doesn't mean anything. Illinois can even sign him because they don't have to actually turn him away until his grades come next summer.

I think it is funny people think it is harder to qualify to one school but not another. Ya, for your regular person trying to attend for school, it may be.

There are VERY few schools that do not have a different qualifying standard for athletes than they do other students. The NCAA has qualifying standards and most schools just use that for athletes.
