this one does hurt. This recruiting class is low on guys who look as though they can be difference makers. Clinkscales looked like one of the few. That said, one never knows when it comes to recruiting --- sometimes less heralded guys turn out and more heralded guys do not. It looks now as though the NU class will be ranked about 6th or so in the conference and somewhere around #40 nationally. There is time though still... so maybe NU finishes strong. At the moment the class looks to be below recent classes. Lets hope for a good finish.

Probably should have waited till after NSD to issue the tough love. The guy sounds like a prima donna, but we could have used his talent and attitude on the DL.

This is a tough loss, but it's better now than after he signs and doesn't qualify. I suspect we are going to be just fine without Clinkscales and Slade.

The silver lining to this craptacular season was that it looked like we had some real difference makers coming in this class, especially on the defensive line. Now that's slipping away too. This is beyond disappointing.

Eh, they got him to commit. That they couldn't get him to stay could really be due to something entirely different than what our coaching staff did.

He basically is saying the love wasnt being felt from the coaches and also saying he is D1 qualified and that means he is qualified for all schools....

This sucks a lot. I was very excitied about him but get very tired of guys who de-commit then feel the need to retweet every moron fan who tweets something negative at him.

Bummed, but we will move on. If this is academic reasons, i hope he gets it figured out.
