Paul, i love that Crick was a nebraska boy and he was good...... but he was nowhere near Suh, and will never be. Suh is a freak that we will only see once a decade, if not longer. I got love for Crick, but Suh was on a whole different level.

sounds like a great visit to set up... lets just hope we make a great impression..... memomories can be short that early in the season... unless we set the standard which all others cannot hope to meet!

 
His top 5 consists of Nebraska, Boise St, Wake Forest, West Virginia, and Texas A&M. We are the only official that he has scheduled thus far.

"I'm going to take this visit first and see how much I like Nebraska before I think about taking other officials," Shortridge said. "I've been talking with coach Kaczenski and getting prepared for what I'm going to see.

"The environment on the campus and within the program is important for me. I want to be in a comfortable place."

I don't want to jump the gun here, but that sounds pretty awesome to me. Sounds almost like he is giving NU a shot at sealing his commitment before even scheduling anything else.

Where is he on our board as far as DT goes? It looks to me like he's it for HS DT, and we'd love to take his commitment.

I assume like every year, we do want a DT out of HS this year, and I'm guessing he's ahead of Leath and Woods on our board at this point.
