DT Lavon Hooks [Ole Miss Commit]

In-home supposedly went great. Seems to like the idea of immediate playing time and the crowd at Nebraska. Trust in the coaches is high on priority list.

 
I really dont think anyone knows where this kid is going. He could very well pick us, or we may not even be in the running, depends which article you read. I think we have a decent shot, but its hard to read him. Sounded like they told him he would play immediately....duh, him and Russel would be a dream come true.

One thing about the staff, sometimes to our recruiting detriment, is their honesty and upfront attitude. We've missed on our share of prospects because of it, but in the end the kid isn't on campus unhappy. Generally the current players on the team respect Bo and co. Proof is in the pudding.

Bingo. For all the fan/media complaints about Bo, the culture he has established is impressive and often overlooked. The kids can trust the coaches and the coaches can trust the character of the kids they're bringing in. It is not only the right way to go about things, it's an advantage that pays dividends. We are winning the right way.

When are we gonna swoop in and nab a kid that we aren't supposed to get? We always seem to have a guy that we are confident in getting, then someone swoops in and steals him out from under our noses. I sure hope this is the guy that we swoop in and nab!
