Sounds like Scout jumped the gun...

Has playoffs this weekend which prohibit.

Sounds more like next Saturday against Maryland.
Which is weird, because it's a 6:30pm game... I would assume he plays Friday night. He could leave Denver at 8am (not ungodly early) and be to Lincoln by 3.
Assuming he wins this week, it will only be harder next Saturday.
Why wouldn't he fly? He could leave Denver by noon and be in Lincoln by 3. Is this not an official visit?

It is, but he'd have to come through Omaha, right? Could be a hassle.

There are 2 or 3 flights a day between Denver and Lincoln.

I was under the impression that the majority (or large number at least) of the official visitors landed in Omaha and were driven to Lincoln

High on my board. Position of need and neighboring state. The BIG is the top conference now too.

I've never seen anything to say that we're REALLY in the mix.

I didn't see his Top 5. Glad we were in that but it doesn't do much good if he's really only considering 3-4 schools.

I thought we were in this one and will be till the end cause of his dads ties to Parrella. Really B1G recruit in my mind, I would think this guy is close to number 1 on our board b/c I think Shelvin is not coming here. I would take Daniels and Eliss then we are done at DT, if we only get one that's fine too.

I hope I'm wrong. I don't see everything. But I've never really seen anything about him talking about NU. Perhaps he just doesn't talk a lot.

As far as his dad and Parrella go, that could be true. But Nate Clouse also has a tendency to think we're more in on recruits than we really are.

We think that there is a Parrella connection ,but another angle...

Luther Elliss played with Robert Porcher in Detroit on the same DL.

Two other Nebraska ties in that era of the Motor City Kitties. Cory Schlesinger and Corey Raymond.
