DT Siosaia Tuipulotu

Tuipulotu would not count against our scholly limit if we took him and he were to take his LDS mission.

But let me get this straight, people do not want to take him when ..

He's a beast

He's a beast at DT

He comes from one of the best HS football programs in the country

He brings a Poly connection

It hurts absolutely NOTHING to bring this kid aboard, let him take his mission (which he rightfully deserves to do), then have him in a few years. Heck, alot of football kids get set on doing a mission but do not end up doing it. Give the kid a freakin' break.

yeah...screw trinity who wants guys from there? :sarcasm

trinity has been one of the best if not best highschools since i was born(86) and we want to turn them down? i say we take them and let tthat open up a few more doors for us in texas.

This guy is the type of player worth waiting for. I dont want to use the term cocky, but lets just call it confidence. You can tell that his team feeds off of that.

And Nebraska takes the lead:

It was the first official visit for Siosaia Tuipulotu and it's hard to imagine it could have gone any better. Tuipulotu, the 6-foot-2, 285-pound defensive tackle from Euless (Texas) Trinity, took the trip to Nebraska this past weekend for the Huskers game against San Jose State with his teammate. It's safe to say the Huskers impressed enough to move up his list in a big way. More

So supposedly a soft Utah commit but continues to look around making his latest visit to Louisville. Is Nebraska still on this guy?
Wonder if Heimuli commit changes things for him?

Anyway, All-Area Dallas Morning News First-team:

Siosaia Tuipulotu, Euless Trinity, Sr.
Position: Defensive line

Height, weight: 6-2, 285

About Tuipulotu: The District 5-5A Defensive Player of the Year, nicknamed L.T., registered 85 tackles in 2008, including 15 for losses and four sacks. He is orally committed to Utah but plans to go on a religious mission before starting his college career.

Did you know? Tuipulotu played rugby growing up in Tonga until he moved to the U.S. two years ago.
