Easy way to peel a hard-boiled egg

I tried this last night in a tupperware container with a sealing lid. It worked.

I've tried this before and it just made a mess.

We've had better luck just peeling them while they are still a little warm, or by buying pre-shelled eggs

Using a glass, covered by your hand, seems like a good way to make a mess. The tupperware with the lid helped.

I didn't shake it as long as this video showed, and I still had to pull the shell off the egg, but it was quicker than cracking it, rolling it on the paper towel, then peeling it. And I did three eggs this way. Maybe if I did just one I'd do it the traditional way.

We make a lot of hard boiled eggs for breakfasts/snacks, so I tried this method. The last time we did about 6 in a plastic Tupperware with a lid. The eggs were all beat to hell.

I do this with a mason jar with a lid. You don't have to shake it that much. Just enough to crack it a little.

Works great.

Ended up with 18 out of 18 perfect deviled eggs on Easter.
