Embedding Tweets

F12 does nothing on my Firefox browser.
Do you have a F-lock key on your keyboard that perhaps maps that key to a different function? In every copy I can find, it brings up the developer stuff.

You could also click the little three line menu thing, to click Developer and click Web Console.

Refresh the page with the console open, then see what's recorded. Post a screen shot with what's in the console, it may help

Here's what I get from page one of this thread.

Sorry to do this, but I have to bug out for the evening. I'll do this again tomorrow at the office, since the problem seems to be happening there, too.

Oh and one thing I've learned too through this is that the post cache is a b!^@h
default_smile.png
It's a b!^@h with other aspects as well. For a while, every block Alex or I wrote didn't seem to update correctly. We had to assign a cache value of 1, which was an arbitrary setting. No reason for it, as the blocks didn't need updating. The board has some peculiarities...

No worries. Nothing there that's terribly interesting.. Do you use any ad blocking software?

I use adblock, but it's disabled on HuskerBoard here and at work. I could try disabling it entirely and see if that does anything.

Yea, try that.

If push comes to shove, if it's ok with you we could use Teamviewer and I could remote into your computer and check it out.

Checked this at work, same results on the Web Console as above. I'm guessing it has something to do with one of the umpteen dozen things like NoScript or DoNotTrack I've got on this browser. I'll turn them all off tonight & see if that fixes it. If so (as I suspect it will) it's just something I have to figure out here.

I just restarted Firefox in Safe Mode with all add-ons disabled, and the tweet embed worked fine. So it's definitely one of my blocky-things. I'll tinker around with it tonight & figure out which one.
