Fall Camp Updates - Offensive Line

Disappointed but not surprised to see Farniok at RT. Was a pretty highly-ranked tackle prospect but then late in his recruitment there were rumblings that he might end up at guard. Being at RT is kind of the halfway point there.

We really need to find some tackles somewhere.

Farniok has a better chance to play RT than LT based on who is in front of him.

SEEN: A clear first- and second-team offensive lines. The top line, left tackle to right tackle, is Nick Gates, Jerald Foster, Cole Conrad, Tanner Farmer and David Knevel. The No. 2 line is Christian Gaylord, John Raridon, Michael Decker, Boe Wilson and Matt Farniok.

Both Langs and Cav said the line has been struggling to pick up stunts and blitzes.

Also center-QB exchanges have been less than stellar.

Not all that encouraging but sometimes you just have a bad day in camp. This is the crucial part of camp, where the excitement of the first week or so has worn off and now you're looking at 20 more practices before the season is here. Sometimes guys lose a little fire around this time.

It's not a big deal as long as the offense comes out angry and kicks butt tomorrow.
