It's a real shame that we played our best baseball when it didn't matter.

Purdue had scored more than six runs twice all year against B1G opponents coming into the weekend. Scored 9 on the Huskers twice in three games.

He'll have to let some guys know they don't measure up at this level and cut them loose. We lost a bunch of close games with pretty good pitching and fielding....a couple timely hits and homers would've made everything different. Need some hitters who bat smart and scare somebody.

This team got full of themselves when they beat unusually mediocre Texas and Fullerton teams and proceeded to set the cruise. Then when things started to go wrong they packed it in. Thats really the most accurate and honest assessment there is.

It's several of the Sr.s who under achieving this year. We just need to move on and recruit.
