Way to stick with your struggling pitcher Darin. He struggled at the end of the 3rd, the whole forth and now just gave Illinois a two run......oops now 3 run lead.

I get why he did it. We used a lot of pitchers last night, but hopefully Howell can eat some innings.

Its going to cost Darin the series against Illinois to extend their winning streak against us to 5 games which is embarrassing and unacceptable.

They have been more aggressive at their at bats than we have. We're watching balls be thrown past us while Illinois have been swinging at anything in the strike zone especially at the first pitch.
