76-64. Very ho-hum. Bo Spencer with a man game. 18 points, 6 boards and 8 dimes. Talley, who I am really starting to like, Ubel and Toney Mac all add 12. Feel this was easily Toney's best game of the year so far.

Next Up: Wake Forest on Wednesday as part of the B1G/ACC Challenge.

 
I think this will be the most exciting and probably highest scoring NU/Creighton game. Right now CU is better in the paint, easily. NU is better on the perimeter. Spencer is the best athlete on the court, hands down. But I am very curious to see who draws McDermott. It sure as hell won't be JBD or Ubel, maybe Toney :dunno

Should be a great game. Now Po, play nic or you'll be put in timeout. NU has Wake and Creighton will have their hands full out at San Diego State. I know they are not the same team as last years Elite 8 squad, but Fisher is a hell of a coach and that is a late game for ya.

 
I'm afraid it will be Creighton by 15. However, if I were trying to talk myself into taking Nebraska this is what I'd say: 1 - Bo Spencer will be wearing red not blue, 2 - Doc has a TREMENDOUS record of taking away opposing teams' star player. That said, I think McDermott is a different kind of star than a Durant, Beasley, or Aldrich. He'll have no problem giving the ball up and I'm afraid it will all lead to a monster game by Echenique. Home team has won ever since Doc's been here (I think) and I don't see that changing this year.
