Fire Satterfield

0 experience @ WR

A very mediocre (at best) OL

And 3 QB's.

He isn't great but give him time with someone at least serviceable taking snaps.

This isn't your Xbox where everything works
This isn’t a dumpster SEC program like South Carolina… this is a dumpster BIG10 program.

This program just needs a little time.

He has failed at every stop he has been at. This team leads the county in fumbles. We brought in a defective, horrible QB. He is so dumb he can’t even call basic run plays. He has no field or game sense. There is 0 idea on how to get the ball to your young guys. No TE usage. There is no idea, scheme, and or plan to this offensive identity.

100+ in total offense. First in turnovers (more turnovers this year before this game than TDs). Even before everyone got hurt this teams offense was awful. If they were this bad at QB why tf did they only bring in one QB?

Ah the classic “give him time” lines when he hasn’t succeeded anywhere. He never calls the right play period
Guy has no idea what is going on. Run plays work and he will call pass. He has 0 field sense of the game. Either you do or don’t as an OC/DC.

there are quite a few coaches at the Nebraska high school level that would do a far better job.

Meh, I didn't think he called a bad game until the last drive and OT. The option didn't work all night and your biggest runs were on outside zone and power. Why the f#&% are you running option to start OT with the game on the line???

The bigger issue was clock management on the final drive. You're inside their 30 with 1:35 left and all 3 time outs. Why the hell are you taking the clock down to 20 second in one play if you want to win? You don't do that crap until you're inside the 10, or it's 3rd down. Playing for a field goal was chicken s#!t.

Purdy kept us in the game. Props to him. He was not given the chance to win the game.

I still say it starts up front.  Watching our OL vs Wisconsin OL is varsity and JV.

Our WR’s also need to get tougher. They are getting bumped off routes. With a poor OL and WR’s that can’t shake defenders our QB’s have no chance.

We did seem to be set way back tonight.  Even the mesh points with Purdy in the gun seemed to take a long time to get to.

But the 4th and 1 was on Bonner.  Went completely the wrong way and left the OLB unblocked.
Yeah, there was more than the formation.  Just seemed to take forever.
